FAQs

Questions families ask us most

What's the difference between non-medical home care and home health care?

Non-medical home care (what we provide) covers daily living support โ€” personal care, homemaking, companionship. Home health care involves skilled nursing or therapy ordered by a physician. Many families use both together, and we coordinate well alongside medical providers.

How quickly can care begin?

Often within days of your first call. After a free consultation and in-home assessment, we match a caregiver to your loved one's needs and schedule.

Are your caregivers employees or contractors?

Our caregivers are screened, tested, and interviewed before employment, then continually trained, supervised, and evaluated. All personnel are fully bonded and insured.

Can we change the schedule or the caregiver?

Yes. Care plans are flexible โ€” hours can scale up or down as needs change, and if a caregiver isn't the right fit, we'll find one who is.

Do you provide short-term care, like after a hospital stay?

Absolutely. Post-discharge and transitional care is one of our most requested services, and short-term arrangements can convert to ongoing care if needed.

How much does home care cost?

It depends on the hours and level of support needed. Call us at 240-988-0442 for a free consultation โ€” we'll give you a clear, no-obligation picture of costs for your situation.
